Jamie and Amy (Jamamie) like to contemplate things. It doesn't matter what kind of things. Anything from snowflakes to waffles. Want to understand some of our logic? Read on.

Snowflakes

Hello everyone and thanks for taking the time to read our ramblings. For our first real entry I figured we needed to start with the first thing Amy and I ever contemplated, which is the life of a snowflake. I know this sounds odd but if you just keep reading I think you’ll get a very good idea of not only what this blog is about, but also how our minds work. So now back to our topic, snowflakes.

If you think of them as water, then they live forever, just constantly changing forms. But if you think of them as snowflakes, being born when they freeze and dying when they melt, then they have a very short and horrible life. Their entire existence is determined by when and where they land. Just think of how many snowflakes die because they were born on a day when it’s barely cold enough for them to live. Then if they live long enough to land somewhere, most places they land they get abused. If they land on a car they get brushed off. If they land on a sidewalk they get blown or shoveled. The worst is if they land on the street, then they get run over, plowed, and then salted. I think the only way for them to have a good life is if they are born during a very bad snow storm in the middle on winter, so it’s cold enough for them to live for a while, and to land in the middle of a yard or some where people won’t be walking, and to land underneath a bunch of other snowflakes, so when it finally starts to warm up they don’t melt right away.

I could keep going but I think that fully explains my reasoning why I think a snowflakes life is so horrible. So that’s all for now but keep checking back to read more about our views on things.
